Regal Sisterhood April 2007 Outing

The Regal Sisterhood Book Club attended the theatrical performance "I Wish I Had Waited" presented by the Irving Black Arts Council at the Irving Arts Center. The play is based on the book, of the same name, by Sylvia Willis Lett. As a group we decided to include our preteen and teenagers in our outing this month, since this play was geared toward them. The message of the play was strong. Focusing on the importance of sexual abstinence for our children. The story was told from the viewpoint of 3 different teen girls, each in very unique life changing situations due to their decision to become sexually active. The Regal Sisters saw this as an opportunity to minister to our children while spending some quality time with them and exposing them to the wonderful world of the Arts. Before the performance we dined at "The Olive Garden". Enjoy our pics! We had a grand time. Thanks to all who attended. Regal Sister Anissa Irby & her son Kentrell. Regal Sister Unsel Whitmire & her girls Brianne & Alexis. Regal Sister Cleopatra Stewart & her daughter Alondria. Regal Sister Andrea' Carr & her son Patrick. Regal Sister Misty Irby & her sons Cameron & Derrion. Regal Sister Cindy Jennings (the only sister without children. Young and carefree!)
